Classes and Booking

What ages can take classes?

Kids classes are for ages 8–12, Teen classes are for ages 13–17, and Adult classes are for ages 18+. Classes are grouped by age so students can learn comfortably with peers.

Do students need sewing experience?

No experience is needed for Basic 1 classes. Basic 2 builds on Basic 1. Project Course classes are best suited for confident beginners.

Are sewing machines provided?

Yes. Sewing machines are provided for every class and private class.

Are materials included?

Materials are included in Basic 1 and Basic 2 classes. In Project Course classes, students bring their own materials.

How do four-week classes work?

Basic 1, Basic 2, and Project classes run as complete four-week courses. One registration reserves the participant’s place for all four scheduled class dates in that session.

How many students per class?

Group classes have a maximum of 4 students so everyone gets individual attention.

How long are classes?

Adult classes are 2 hours per week for 4 weeks. Teen and kids classes are 1.5 hours per week for 4 weeks.

Can I register more than one participant?

A separate registration is required for each participant. Each registration reserves one of the available spaces for the full four-week course.

Do I need to agree to a registration contract?

Class registration includes a required Sewing Training Contract agreement. For a minor, the purchaser, parent, or guardian is the person agreeing to the contract.

Can I opt in to promotional emails?

Yes. Marketing and promotional email consent is optional and separate from the required registration agreement.

What is the booking cutoff?

Online registration closes 30 hours before the first class. If you need to register after that, please contact the studio directly.

Private Classes

How do private lessons work?

Private class availability varies. The studio adds available dates and times as they become available. Once a private class is booked, the entire time slot is reserved for you or your group.

Can I book for more than one person?

Yes. Private classes are available for 1 to 4 participants. Adult private classes are 2 hours at $65 per participant. Kids and Teens private classes are 1.5 hours at $45 per participant.

Can I use a gift card toward a private class?

Yes. Stitched Together Studio class gift certificates can be used toward eligible classes, private classes, and workshops booked through the class scheduling system.

How can I pay for a private class?

Private classes may be paid online when booking, by e-transfer, or by cash. E-transfer and cash payments are due by the first class.

Workshops and Gift Certificates

Do you offer workshops?

Yes. Occasional one-time workshops are offered throughout the year. Each workshop has its own date, time, price, and number of spaces.

What can gift certificates and gift cards be used for?

Shop gift cards can be used toward handmade products purchased through the online shop.

Previously issued Stitched Together Studio gift certificates will continue to be honoured.
