I’ve done sewing for about a term and 4 weeks. I’ve learnt so many things in sewing class. I learnt to sew a button, use a sewing machine, and heaps of other tips to use. I also made a bag.

“I’ve been attending Vicki’s classes. I think of it as getting rid of bad habits I’ve developed over the years as well as learning new skills. I’m about to complete the first item of clothing I have made in years. The seams match up and everything is even – that’s a first for me. I’ve even got the sleeves in the right way up. Don’t laugh, I've been known to put them upside-down (ask my sister).

I highly recommend the Eye Pillow. I suffer from Thyroid Eye disease, and these have been so soothing easing eye pressure and eye strain. It fits snug on the eyes and can be used either cold or hot. It also comes with instructions on how to use it, which was very helpful.

I did beginner and intermediate sewing classes with Vicki. I hadn’t touched a sewing machine since intermediate school and barely remembered anything, but now at 33 I have the right knowledge to complete my sewing projects independently. Vicki has a vast knowledge and experience, patience and provides crystal clear explanations! Can’t wait to start another course with her next year!

Vicki runs such a fabulous programme. Suitable for complete novices or people with experience already who want to improve their skills. I thoroughly enjoyed my four-week dressmaking programme coming out of it with a completed garment ready to wear and feel so much more confident to go it alone for my next project knowing that I now have some sound practices. No question went unanswered and as a teacher Vicki has infinite patience. Such a great thing to do.
