Stitched Together Studio, in Niagara Falls Ontario, teaches basic sewing skills to adults, teens and kids 8 years and over. My name is Vicki and I started sewing when I was about 12 years old. Over the years I have had the opportunity to make many items for my home, my children, myself, and others. I really enjoy being creative and I’m still learning new skills all the time. While I am not professionally trained, I wanted to share my passion for sewing with those who might be just discovering sewing; those who want to rediscover their passion or those that just want to try something new.
A few years ago, I started teaching basic sewing skills. My methods are fun and simple to understand, and classes are small to ensure individual attention. Besides learning sewing skill, students also learn other skills such as problem-solving, patience and perseverance. Everyone has a great sense of pride and achievement when they complete a project.
